Queen Elizabeth Park

Queen Elizabeth national park is another of Uganda’s popular safarin destination located in south western Uganda stretching through Bushenyi, Kasese, Rukungiri and Kamwenge districts. The park is blessed with amazing landscapes, crater lakes and a variety of mammal and bird species including over 10,000 buffaloes, up to 2500 African elephants, 5000 hippos, lions, leopards, servla cats, warthogs, antelopes, waterbucks plus 600 species of birds and that’s why this wildlife park is regarded as the ‘Medely of Wonders‘. The park comprises of the Maramagambo forest and is bordered by the Kyambura gorge which is a popular destinations for tourists interested in chimpanzee tracking plus the Kibale forest forms a continuous forest corridor with Queen Elizabeth park where you can spot a variety of primates, iconic species, birds and a wide range of tree species.
