Murchison Falls Park

Murchison falls national park is not only Uganda’s largest national park but arguably the most visited safari destination for for tourists interested in game drives, boat rides and hiking. Situated in north eastern Uganda, this magnficnent park streches from Lake Albert engulfing the Budongo forest, Karuma & Bugungu wildlife reserve to the Murchison Falls Conservation Area. The strong falls where the mighty nile squeezes itself through a 7 meter gorge is by far the best attraction in the park and can be viewed from the top or on a boat cruise to the bottom, however the park is home to 76 mammal speces and 450 species of birds including lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, antelopes, warthogs, baboons, monkeys, and largest population of Nile crocodiles among attractions.
